first lesson to play guitar

After you learned how to hold the guitar. the firs lesson is to play the chromatic scale, which means playing all the frets. at the first position.

The chromatic scale may not sound like a lot of fun. It is simply a learning skill. It's an important warming skill as well. So use this to learn and know this is one exercise that improves your playing dramatically, so put up with a little time playing the chromatic scale everyday.

There are 12 tones in  Western musical system. A tone can also be called a pitch. Pitch is the relative highness or lowness of a tone.
